‘Black Panther 2’ is Coming: Filming Begins in 2021 Summer
There have been a huge setback in the world of movie production, this year 2020. A record breaking decline due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which had forced many blockbusters to suspend filming, and planned releases to be postponed.
However, Marvel Studios are not letting go the year 2021, with a stockpile of highly anticipated movies which should have been in the cinemas. Movies like Spider-Man 3, Eternals, The Black Widow and Shang-Chi r definitely hitting the screens next year.
Marvel, taking a leap of faith has reportedly set a production date for the sequel to the ‘Black Panther’ movie. In a report made by ”, the filming which have now been scheduled to commence in July year 2021.
Marvel studios had earlier planned shooting the movie in March 2021. But, due to the shocking death of the lead role Chadwick Boseman, in his long battle with colon cancer. The movie had to be rescheduled, after which the movie director Ryan Coogler sent a condolence message to the family of the deceased.
“After his family released their statement, I realized that he was living with his illness the entire time I knew him, Because he was a caretaker, a leader, and a man of faith, dignity and pride, he shielded his collaborators from his suffering. He lived a beautiful life. And he made great art. Day after day, year after year. That was who he was. He was an epic firework display. I will tell stories about being there for some of the brilliant sparks till the end of my days.”
Coogler wrote.
Lot’s of controversies have risen since the death of the legendary Chadwick Boseman, as to how Marvel studios will keep up with the sequel of the Black Panther movie. How the company will address the irreplaceable presence of the actor. According to sources, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett are among the actors who are expected to reprise their roles in Black Panther 2. With Netflix’s Narcos (Mexico) playing as the sequel’s antagonist.
