Irish boxer Conor McGregor is coming of retirement to fight against Dustin Poirier in January 2021.
McGregor has been a flirt with retirement, announcing multiple times that he has retired. After returning he announced his retirement again in June.
According to Mcgregor official website, the 155 pound contest would take place on January 23, with Abu Dhabi as the likely venue.
I am very grateful to be about to return and get to do what I love again,” McGregor was quoted as saying.
“I look forward to the fresh test Dustin will bring since our first bout, while also showcasing my own incredibly deep cache of weaponry. Whatever tool is needed on the night will be pulled from the duffel.”
The last time the pair met was in 2014, where Mcgregor won by TKO and he will be looking forward to replicate such again.
