The long awaited American Music Awards 2020, which took place at the Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theatre on the 22nd of November, was hosted by Taraji P. Henson.

The Weeknd copped for himself the most winnings for the year, as he took home trophies for the following categories:
Favourite Male Artist – Soul/R&B, Favourite Album – Soul/R&B, and Favourite Song – Soul/R&B.
