Anthony Joshua ready to take pay cut to fight fury in Britain

Heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua says he is ready to take a pay cut in a bid to ensure that he fights Tyson fury in UK.
The bout between the duo is expected to take place abroad, but anthony joshua is ready to let go a huge sum of money for the fight to happen in britain.
The boxing match is well anticipated by boxing fans and it appears that both will take on each other in 2021.
According to reports, Joshua took a pay cut for his imminent fight against Kubrat Pulev at the O2 Arena, where he will short a sum of 8 million pounds due to the covid-19 preventing having the stadium filled with spectators, allowing only a few.
Speaking to reporters he said: ‘Yeah, why not? Now I’m fighting Kubrat Pulev for a massive pay cut,’ he replied when asked about fighting Fury in the UK – in the Sun.
‘We have to keep the sport alive, Matchroom are taking pay cuts this year, we have to keep the sport alive.
‘We are all doing our part at the minute, It’s all experience. We are doing it now so I wouldn’t mind doing it again.
‘It’s not harming me, and it’s for a bigger cause as well, it’s a massive cause and a big fight but the main objective is how do we get Fury in the ring.’
