Blue Ivy Carter Debuts Grammy Nomination at 8 years old

The daughter to The family of The Carters, Blue Ivy have gotten her first ever Grammy Nomination. The award nomination, which was in the Best Music Video category for “Brown Skin Girl” was announced on Friday, December 11 2020.
Blue Ivy Carter bagged the nomination for the glorious award by the Recording Academy, which started in May 4, 1959 at just 8 years Old. The song which is a part of The Lion King: The Gift Album (Deluxe Edition). Featuring verses from her mom, Beyonce, SAINt JHN and the Nigerian Wizkid. Blue Ivy’s voice appeared in the first part of the song.
The 63rd Grammy Awards, which is to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, in Jan 31st 2021 doesn’t initially feature Blue Ivy Carter as a nominee. As the “Brown Skin Girl” video had earned her a NAACP Image award for Outstanding Duo or Group.
However, the 63rd Grammy Nomination list got updated yesterday on the Recording Academy’s official website. Putting the “Brown Skin Girl” video up for the Best Music Video category award, contending with Future’s “Life is Good” video with Drake, Harry Style’s “Adore You,” Woodkid’s “Goliath,” and Anderson .Paak’s “Lockdown” video.
