Burna Boy’s African Giant Album wins Edison Award 2020

After his consecutive Grammy Awards nomination, Burna Boy have been crowned Edison’s World Album winner Awards 2020.
Contending with Cuba Linda and Oumniya under the same category nomination. Burna Boy becomes the first Nigerian to win the Edison Award. However, making him third artist in Africa to win the award, after Youssou N’Dour in 1994, and Angelique Kidjo in the year 2018.

As written in dutch language, the Edison awards panel credits Burna Boy for his incredible impact in African music around the world. The credits which goes to his 2019 African Giant Album.
