Kid Cudi features Pop Smoke, others in new album: Man On The Moon III

Kid Cudi has officially announced the release of Man On The Moon III: The Chosen. The announcement which was made via his official twitter page, indicates that the album is set to drop December 11, this Friday.

Cudi had earlier teased the album release in the begining of this year. Man On The Moon III: The Chosen, a sequel to his Man On The Moon series, first released in 2009 into the G.O.O.D Music Label.

Man On The Moon III consist of 18 tracks. Kid Cudi features the late iconic American rapper Pop Smoke, alongside Skepta, Trippie Redd and Phoebe Bridgers for collaboration in the forthcoming album.

While the first series of this album debuted in 2009 as Man On The Moon: The End of Day, sequentially followed by Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr Ranger in 2010. It is well known that Cudi had no intentions for a third sequel of the album. According to his discussion with Billboard in 2016.

“I don’t even feel obligated to do Man on the Moon 3 anymore,”

he told Billboard

“As of right now, people should just get that off their mind. That’s not ever going to happen.”

However, hopes for this project were leavened by his lyrics on “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady”,

“The trilogy continues, Serving n-ggas, yes, see what’s on the menu”

The song which was released at the beginning of this year.
