Pop Smoke to make Acting Debut in new movie “Boogie”

Late iconic American Rapper, Pop Smoke to make first posthumous appearance in a new movie titled “Boogie,” scheduled for release next year.

The Movie “Boogie” as written by Eddie Huang, is set to be released in March 5, 2021. Featuring a role by the Late Pop Smoke. The storyline highlights the life of a young ambitious basketball player. With dreams of playing in the NBA, he outlawed the directions of parents, who wanted him to go to one of the top colleges in the country.

The movie “Boogie” was directed by Eddie Huang, the movie writer. It’s scenes was filmed in Queens, New York, featuring other rappers and actors. The likes of Taylor Takahashi, Pamelyn Chee, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Mike Moh, Perry Yung, Taylour Paige, and Domenick Lombardozzi will be making appearances in the movie.

As earlier reported by New York Times this year, Eddie Huang described Pop Smoke’s performance as “Natural,” in a statement he made while speaking to New York Times,

“He gave me a thousand percent. They were tough 16-hour days, overnights, and he shot five overnights in a row. Kids were coming on the bridge to watch us shoot the scenes. We would play Pop’s record,”

With anticipations surrounding the release of this movie, it seems there are still a lot more expectations for the fans of Pop Smoke despite his death. Pop Smoke had put in enough work to keep his fans entertained for years.
