Stormzy Signs Deal with 0207 Def Jam Label

BET Award-winning British rapper, Stormzy has signed a new record deal with the newly launched 0207 Def Jam Label. The record label which is a subsidiary of the Universal Music Group, was launched just last week.

Stormzy, who is the first artist to be signed to the 0207 Def Jam Label, have won a number of awards to himself. Awards including the Brit Award for British Male Solo Artist 2018 & 2020, BET Hip Hop Award for Best International Flow 2020 and many more.

Formerly signed to Atlantic Records U.K. The South London born 27 years old rapper, have been labelled the most successful artist from U.K.

The 0207 Def Jam Label is headed by the Boateng brothers, Alex and Alec Boateng. A role to which they were specially appointed to lead. As stated by the Universal Music U.K. chairman & CEO David Joseph, during the launch of the record label.

David stated further

Stormzy, who gave been performing excellently prior to his new deal, is expected to up his games to beat more expectations. A task which he definitely is deem fit to beat.
