Covid-19: Premier league club confirms three new cases

Premier league gaints, Manchester City have confirmed three more cases of covid-19 at the club, taking the total number of cases at the club to 17.
The three individuals which tested positive includes Scott Carson, Cole Palmer and one staff member; they have now joined other players and staffs, who tested positive and now in isolation.
The rapid increase in the number of cases at the club has being of serious concern as 17 cases are being confirmed in 14 days.
A club statement said: ‘Manchester City FC can confirm that Scott Carson, Cole Palmer and one member of staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
‘Both personnel will now observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.
‘Everyone at the Club wishes Scott, Cole and all of our other colleagues a speedy recovery ahead of their return to work, training and competition.’
