Virgil Abloh recreates old LV Trainers into Upcycled aesthetics

Artistic Director/Digital Creator.

While Louis Vuitton is preparing for the release of the Spring/Summer 2021 collections. The Louis Vuitton director for men’s wear, Virgil Abloh is remodeling the old 2019 LV Trainers into a new taste of highly covetable sneakers.
Virgil Abloh reassembled the old LV Trainers, making them into newly designed silhouettes for the “SS21 Upcycling Collection.” Each pairs have slightly different designs, with textures made from suede and subtle calfskin. This new version of the LV Trainers have a florescent LV monogram tag on the right foot, with aesthetic magenta and blue tie-dye laces.

The new revamped Louis Vuitton trainers have the “LV Upcycling” word boldly on the heels, coupled with the LV signature on the sides, highlighting the aesthetic beauty of the “Upcycling Collection.”
