Travis Scott is experimenting with new sounds, beats and discoveries he had gathered along his career. While gearing up for the debut of his wildly anticipated “Utopia” album, Travis featured on i-D Magazine spring issue for “Utopia in Dystopia.”
Although, Travis Scott is yet to open up on some of the details to the follow up of the Astroworld album, “Utopia.” The 28 years old Houston MC has explained that he is his experimenting with a whole new sound, with new people while trying to expand his music.
“I never tell people this, and I’m probably going to keep it a secret still, but I’m working with some new people and I’m just trying to expand the sound,”he said
Travis further explained that he his enjoying his new development, one of the major things that working on the album has brought to him is his evolution.
“I’ve been making beats again, rapping on my own beats, just putting everything together and trying to grow it really. That’s been one of the most fun things about working on this album. I’m evolving, collaborating with new people, delivering a whole new sound, a whole new range.”
While the i-D magazine “Utopia in Dystopia Issue” is scheduled for release in worldwide in February 25, Travis Scott also took the chance to thank his daughter Stormi for her cooperation and collaboration for the magazine cover. Travis Scott explained that Stormi have been a major influence to his new development, stating that Fatherhood have been his major inspiration.
“Fatherhood influences my job. It has a huge impact. It’s a major inspiration, you know what I’m saying? Especially Stormi, she’s just acting like a kid. She’s always interested, she catches on and learns things and adapts to things so fast.”Travis said.
While the world have been on a pandemic lockdown since last year 2020. Fortunately, the Astroworld is booming, as Travis Scott have been challenging himself to new things. Travis has evolved into the most recognized brand in Hip hop in 2020.
