Drake has been at the peak of his career, ever since his break out. With Chart smashing songs, the ‘Started From the Bottom’ rapper have ruled Billboard’s top Artist of the Decade chart. The thriving artist is set to be honoured on May 23, at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
Based on the activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, and the analytics on the Billboard 200 albums combined, Drake has ranked the best-performing artist of the Decade in the overall top artist category. The award due to his chart shattering performance during the 2010s.
In the recent report, Billboard showcased the overall top 100 artists of the 2010s, a multiple decade-end charts which also features top performances from artists for country, rock, R&B/hip-hop, Latin, Christian, gospel, dance/electronic and all-genre touring.
Billboard also reported that Drake bagged nine Billboard 200 chart “No. 1s” all in the past Decade, after his debut appearance in 2009. Drake also had six Billboard Hot 100 “No. 1s” along the line.
Hosted by Nick Jonas, the 2021 Billboard Music Awards event will air live Sunday, May 23, on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
