Kanye Omari West, Popular know as “Ye” has finally announced the debut of the long awaited album “Donda,” after it’s third listening event.
The album “Donda” which raked up to $12 million from listening events, and more than $7 million from merch sales, so far, is a memorial named after his late mother. A recreation of Kanye’s childhood home was seen in the Chicago Soldier Field during the third listening event, creating a nostalgic scene for the billionaire rapper.
Donda was initially scheduled for release after the first listening event on July 22, but was postponed to August 6 which, of course, wasn’t released untill today, August 29, 2021. A follow-up of his previously released Grammy Award-winning gospel studio album “Jesus Is King.”
